I have been in a bit of an ABBA mood this week.  There are very few of their song that I don't jam out too! The song (well one of the songs on repeat) is Take a Chance on me.  I love this  video and I want the sweaters both Agnetha and Anni-Frid are wearing.

If you haven't heard this song yet, I think you've been living in a bubble.  Gotye (pronounced "gore-ti-yeah") is pretty hot right now.  This video is pretty wicked, I like the abstract art and body painting.

Somebody's getting married!

Today is my  cousin's wedding. I am in New Jersey for the festivities and it should be a good one!  In honor of the nuptials, here's a little muppets!

New Edition was in town last night, the full crew; with Bobby & Johnny! I wasn't able to attend because I was rocking with my girls out in E-town, but I was there in spirit.

Last night while driving to my party (which was an hour away), I flipped through the radio stations and heard this song and of course had to pump it up! Cassanova by LeVert.  One of the local radio stations plays Old Skool jams of Friday night and it's my new BFF.

This week has been super busy! I've started classes and have tons of reading to do; oh the joys of being a history student again.  I've decided to complete a Public History program and even though I am only taking two classes, they are graduate level classes which means 300 pages to read a week.  I am super excited about the projects  I will be working on so you will not hear complaints from me!

So this week flew by and I didn't realize I hadn't posted anything!

This weeks Saturday Song is by one of my super favorite groups, The Foo Fighters. There are very few songs of theirs I don't care for; the songs are just fun to dance around too.  Their videos are always amusing and this one doesn't disappoint.

Saturday Song Dedication

This week's Saturday Song is taking a different route; it's a dedication to a dear friend of mine who is going through a tough time.  It breaks my heart seeing my friend in pain and if I could take his hurt away I would, but unfortunately I can't.

I think Paul Simon wrote an eloquently beautiful song; Whitney Houston & Cece Winans sing the hell out of it.  Both women have incredible voices and if listening to them sing this song doesn't bring a tear to your eye, then I think you have eyes of stone

I just can't say enough how much I love, love, love this song.  It is so full of sex appeal.  I think the best song to do a pole routine or strip tease too.  Ladies drive your man wild one night and put this song on, start moving around..see what happens.

I have several songs on repeat this week, I decided to go with "Sail"  by AWOLNATION.  This song is kinda dark with a splash of sexy.  If you haven't check this band out, then you kinda need too.  They are blowing up and you don't want me to tell you, "I told you so."  LA Music Blog describes AWOLNATION as "A bit pop, a bit hip-hop, and more than a dash punk rock"

The Naked & the Famous are my new fav group on repeat, so you might hear some of their songs over the next  couple of weeks.  I'm not sure what it is about their music that captivates me, but I'm digging it; this video is pretty hot as well.

Just when I think that I am ready to start blogging again, my life gets crazy! This week I have been dealing with being sick. And just when I think I am all better, I start running around and get sick again.  This is no bueno. 

I just  finished dancing around to this song, probably not the best thing to do when sick, but it lifted my spirits and made me feel super fab.  I don't know if I have posted this before as a Saturday song, so if I have, I apologize.

Many of you may remember The Cars.  Hugely popular new wave  group from the late 70's & 80's: they were the ones who sang, "My Best Friend's Girl" and "Just What I Needed".  Well they are back and released a new album at the end of last year.  If you haven't heard it yet, well you just need too.
